We are the couple behind The Searth Company (pronounced ‘surth’).
Trav dove into the photography/ videography game when he got his first drone back in 2017. Back then it was more the flying that he enjoyed but he then started experimenting with what he could capture whilst flying. Living in the Illawarra Trav began shooting the local marine life, surfers and coastal landscapes nearby. He started The Searth Company back in 2019 to sell his photography and it has evolved since then to where we are today. Jess does all the grit work, the behind the scenes stuff. She makes sure everything runs smoothly and organizes Trav, she’s the boss. She will be your main contact throughout the whole process.
From then on a camera went with Trav on every adventure around Australia and across the globe. Taking snaps and making travel films.
This work led Trav to be asked by multiple friends and family to capture their special day for them. From here Trav found a passion for capturing these special, intermit moments and telling each couples story.
On the day Trav’s shooting style is pretty relaxed and candid. He likes to remain as discreet as possible capturing all those proper candid moments whilst getting the cute lovey posed stuff during your portrait session with your photographer. His editing style is fast paced and love filled. Slowing it down in your film when needed to get those tear ducts working to then speed it up, jam-packing in all the details of the day. That way nothing is missed even if you missed it yourself from being too busy on the day. This gives you a film that reminds you of exactly how good your wedding day was!
